What we’re looking for

To support our product team, LaterPay is looking for a talented full time or part time UX/UI Designer with a passion for ‘wowing!’ users to help us create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate will have an eye for clean, simple and meaningful design, possess superior UX/UI design skills and be able to translate user needs and concepts into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces and flows. As you would be the first UX/UI Designer to work at LaterPay, the role will be both a challenge and a great opportunity for ownership over the development of these processes and disciplines within the company as well as for growth as we grow. We are looking for someone to be a UX pioneer for LaterPay, someone who has suggestions for how we can cultivate a culture of UX in our agile company placing an emphasis on iteration, collaboration and feedback. We want a UX designer who will bring with them ideas and experience for establishing new UX processes that will eventually change the way we approach our work.

What we do

At LaterPay, we empower the business of paid content and services across the Internet. In our process, when a visitor reaches paid content, instead of having to complete a form and hand over a credit card, the user simply agrees to pay later and gets instant access to content, resulting in increased sales conversions and a better user experience.

We believe that consuming paid content should be as easy and convenient as going out to dinner: you are served first and you pay later.

As part of our product management team, you will:

About you

How we work

As a distributed team, we’re not too bothered by when and where you work. That said, most of us work Monday to Friday from 9 UTC to 6 UTC, and we're looking for someone who'd overlap at least 4 hours within that timeframe.

We try to be as asynchronous as possible, but feel that we need some “synchronicity” to work well.

We care more about what you do and how you work with the rest of the team, than we do about your ability to be at a chair, at a desk at 9am every day.

If this sounds interesting, but you're not sure you're quite the right fit, apply and let us know what you bring to the table.

Closing date

Because of the very enthusiastic response and high number of applications to this job ad, we've decided to move up the closing date and will take applications until December 21, 2017. We will get back to you and start arranging screens and interviews starting January 2018.
