EU Marketing & Sales Intern
At LaterPay, we empower the business of paid content and services across the Internet. In our process, when a visitor reaches paid content, instead of having to complete a form and hand over a credit card, the user simply agrees to pay later and gets instant access to content, resulting in increased sales conversions and a better user experience. We track the user's content consumption across all sites, and after a monetary threshold is reached, we collect payment. Our partners see a significant uplift in purchase conversions and simplify their billing and collections.
What we’re looking for
We are seeking a motivated and proactive intern/part time team member to support our marketing and sales team by telling and selling the LaterPay story to our specified B2B-target group in Germany. The global sales and marketing responsibility at LaterPay is located in the US, lead by our CRO, supported by sales team members in the US and Germany, a global marketing manager in the US and external partners and agencies to support and execute our marketing activities. We are looking for someone who serves as a bridge between all these parties with a focus on the German (and European) marketing and sales activities.
- Act as a bridge between the US and EU marketing and sales team, which means steering the communication, being addressable for needs regarding the German market, controlling the marketing and sales processes in Germany, document activities, make progress and results transparent to the company
- Brief, steer and control the German external partners for PR and Marketing activities in Germany, which are mainly adaptations from the US (e.g. press releases, blog articles, social media posts, sales material, events) in close alignment with experienced LaterPay team members
- Support our German sales team by lead-researches, CRM maintenance and reportings
Experience and drive
An interest in communication, marketing and sales is mandatory to have fun with this role. Besides this you do not need many years of experience, but you need to be capable of taking a task and owning it.
That doesn’t mean you necessarily do all the work, but it does mean you take on responsibility for completion, and asking for help and advice as appropriate.
How we work
LaterPay’s offices are in Munich, Berlin and New York. Our team members work across the globe, with “virtual offices” in Germany, the UK, Poland, Portugal, Denmark, Brazil, Canada and the United States.
For this position, we expect you to work from the Munich office.
To deal with our distributed team, where most tools we use don’t communicate tone or body language, a good command of German and written English is a very important quality for us.
If this sounds interesting, please apply. We are looking forward to meeting you!
